Mobile Sites with Mofuse

April 21st, 2008 (2:00pm) Mike Gunderloy No Comments

ScreenshotAfter last week’s mention of Wirenode we heard from MoFuse, who offer a quite similar service: translating web sites for mobile usage. The quickest way to start (after signing up for a free account) is to give it your site’s RSS feed and pick a URL (a subdomain of mofuse.mobi). After that you can tweak the design, add static pages, or otherwise customize the mobile version of the site.

MoFuse offers graphical pageview statistics, a 50% revenue sharing program for putting ads on your mobile version, and automatic image resizing to fit things on the mobile screen. For $3 per month you can upgrade to their professional version, keep all the ad revenue yourself, and use a custom domain name, among other features.
